Worst VMAs ever. Britney didn't deserve those VMAs. She deserved them more during her previous albums, not for a half ass video. This fractured stage set up they have going on suck. And what the eff was up with not even showing Katy Perrys whole performance. I'm dissappointed in MTV. They've slumped big time with the VMAs the past couple years. And don't even get me started with Best New Artist.
Anyone else think Christina ripped off LADY GAGA with that LIP synced performance. And, also not to hate but, the new song..yeah not so much. NOW P!nk...wow. HOT BODY! HOT LIVE VOCALS. HOT SONG!! I was pleasantly surprised by her. I think the Vma's were lacking compared to last year. Even with Brit's god awful performance...there was at least something to talk about. This year...Jonas Bros...really. Virgin Rings..yeah CANT WAIT TIL 2009.

Christina for sure bit off Lady GaGa. Same hair, similar outfit, and basically just trying to emulate her. It didn't work. I'm surprised that GaGa wasn't a nominee for new artist. That TokyoHotel shouldn't have one. Overall this years VMAs was lacking hot performances. If only GaGa were there.
nothing amazing but Xtina had the best performance. For a while there I thought it was Lady Gaga. As usual Kayne had the biggest event or he'd probably cry sour grapes. Btw, what's with the over use of props?

xtina...ok, performance-wise, it was great, but all i could think was that she was copying lady gaga...also, she has the greatest voice of our generation, and she LIP-SYNCED!!!!!! and btw, lady gaga has a back track, but she does not lip sync...also, i loved the genie in the bottle part, but she has got to lose the baby weight before she can wear that outfit

Even though Christina is biting off GaGa and doing a horrible job a miming her own song, she is still fierce. The new sound for "Genie" is how "Keeps Gettin' Better" should sound. "Genie" is really sultry, dark, and understated while "KGB" is just a mediocre song with her screaming over the music.
Wow, Xtina's performance looked like a cheap version of Lady GaGa, in my honest opinion. she also lip-synched the entire performance! lol.. what a bitch. she suck anyways. ain't going anywhere these days.
